There are over 20 golf courses within a 15minute drive from the apartment.
3 golf courses are within a 10 minute walk from the apartment which include Millennium, Laguna and Victoria which is home to the Portugal Masters
Golf clubs can be provided free of charge by prior arrangement.
TENNIS CLUB
Vilamoura Tennis Club is located in the centre of Vilamoura approximately 500 metres away from the Marina. The Academy has 9 outdoor tennis courts, with floodlighting, where a number of tournaments are staged.
The restaurant, with its pleasant terrace overlooking the courts and the players lounge are two possible places for before and after your game.
FAMILY GOLF PARK
Overcome the challenges along the two 18-hole mini golf courses at the Family Golf Park (the Via Appia, devoted to the history of the Roman Empire, and the Via Lusitânia, devoted to the Roman Empire’s occupation of the Iberian Peninsula), while learning more about the Roman Empire and enjoying the gardens. Here you will find two hundred species of trees and plants in a setting containing replicas of Roman monuments.
Suitable for all ages, combining healthy competition with an outdoor activity.
CERRO DA VILA
ARCHEOLOGICAL SITE
A visit to Cerro da Vila Museum and Archaeological Site is a 5000-year journey through the history of humankind.
The route through the ruins provides an immersive experience of a typical Roman maritime villa (c. 1st – 5th AD). Inside the villa are mosaics, luxurious fountains (domus), public and private baths, fish sauces factories, funerary monuments (columbaria, inhumation graves) and highlights the existence of a fluvial port serving as a trading post.
In this time travel, demand goes through the Roman (c. 1st – 5th AD), and Islamic (c. 8th – 12th AD) period. Archaeological artifacts related to architecture, sculpture, commerce and death are shown, with many of them being unique in Portugal.
